Following my Fulbright to India in 2001, teaching at four different Indian design schools: National Institute of Design (Ahmedabad), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, IIT Guwahati (Assam), Srishti Institute of Art and Technology (Bangalore), I wrote a comparative article for the Chicago AIGA journal. Martha Scotford is a book designer, and taught graphic design and design history at North Carolina State University for 32 years. She has received NEA grants for research on women in design, and was a Fulbright Lecturer in India in 2001.
