Graphic Design curriculum change at NC State

This diagram (clearer in paper) is the framework for the new Graphic Design curriculum at NC State, rolled out beginning in fall 2007. Silas Munro and I taught the junior studio on “Systems” in fall 2008 and reported on the studio work at the Future History conference in Chicago in 2009. Read presentation here.

Martha Scotford is a book designer, and taught graphic design and design history at North Carolina State University for 32 years. She has received NEA grants for research on women in design, and was a Fulbright Lecturer in India in 2001.
